Erkan Altan, new senior software engineer at TSL

TSL, betting on its strategic approach based on “innovation and interoperability”, reinforces its software engineering area with Erkan Altan.

The appointment of Altan supports TSL's continued investment in engineering customer-centric, intelligent, scalable and prepared for the next wave of intelligent issuance workflows. Ian Godfrey, CTO of TSL, celebrates the signing by highlighting that the senior software engineer will help them “prepare our solutions for the future.”

Altan will contribute to TSL more than two decades of experience in embedded systems and software engineering on cutting-edge projects spanning air defense, communications and broadcasting equipment, and medical devices. Beginning with the development of BLE and LTE controllers for mobile IoT systems, Altan's work has consistently built bridges between more classical engineering and emerging technologies.

Recently, it has been taken two years sabbatical of professional development in Switzerland, acquiring certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Neural Networks and Natural Language Processing, in addition to studying German. Previously, Erkan worked for more than a decade at DNF Controls, where he collaborated in the development of Flex Control processors and integrated control solutions used by major television networks, such as CNN, NBC y FOX.
