Merging Technologies - Ovation 11

Building on the success of Pyramix 15, Merging Technologies launches a “revolutionary” update to its main multimedia server and sequencer: Ovation 11.

Originally developed for theme park applications, Ovation has become a solution that responds to the problems of broadcast environments, large-scale theatrical performances, immersive museum installations and multi-zone retail experiences around the world. The latest version of Ovation features a renewed interface in dark mode and intuitive navigation that puts a powerful control server for all types of formats, as well as audio playback.

Its redesigned integrated mixer, panner and renderer become completely customizable, giving users greater flexibility to tailor busses, strips and aux channels to their workflow, whether for direct stereo playback, multi-zone or complex immersive formats. Likewise, compatibility with plugins VS3 from up to 32 audio channels allows Ovation 11 to meet the demands of the “most ambitious” productions.

The system also stands out for offering a integrated low latency mixer to accurately handle live inputs. Full automation and support for both VST and Merging's own VS3 plugins “guarantee” seamless integration with other control systems, enabling multi-channel, ambisonic and immersive formats, as well as advanced scripting and redundant operation. Additionally, broadcast environments can benefit from Ovation multi-channel cue lists, which are organized with detailed interaction rules, making it easier for operators to manage complex programs. The tool also stands out for its instant and accurate playback of multichannel cues in any format, sample rate or bit depth.
