Carles Torrens begins filming the sequel to 'Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End'

Prime Video starts with Nostromo Pictures the filming of 'Apocalypse Z: Part II' (working title), the continuation of the film released in 2024, which became an international phenomenon. Carles Torrens returns to direct this post-apocalyptic story that will be filmed between Barcelona, ​​Lleida and Gran Canaria.

After Apocalypse Z: The beginning of the end became the most-watched international original film on Prime Video in 2024 (second only to Your fault), Apocalypse Z: Part II returns with an even more ambitious, choral and action-packed story, which expands the universe created by the author Manel Loureiro.

Production is once again in charge of Nostromo Pictures, with Núria Valls and Adrián Guerra as executive producers, and script by Ángel Agudo.

The film, starring Carlos Alcaide, Julia Martínez, Mónica López, Tamara Casellas and Santiago Vaca Narvaja, takes us to the Canary Islands that have become the last refuge in Europe after the outbreak of the TSJ virus. When a special mission leaves for the peninsula in search of vital supplies, Roberto (Warden) joins the team with dubious intentions. The dangerous operation becomes a desperate race for survival, and Roberto and his companions will find themselves among hordes of infected and divided loyalties. Then the eternal question arises: save oneself or risk everything to save what little remains of humanity?
