Miguel Blasco dies at 75 years of age

The journalist Miguel Blasco has died at the age of 75. An academic at the Television Academy, his professional figure is closely linked to RTVE, where he held numerous positions of responsibility in the field of programming and broadcasts.

The wake will take place in Room 6 of the Gómez Ulla Hospital Mortuary. The funeral will be held today, Monday at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Sacramental of San Justo (Paseo de la Ermita del Santo, 70), and then the burial will take place in that same cemetery.

The Television Academy wanted to join in the pain of the loss of a great professional, committed to the medium and with an outstanding career in the audiovisual field.

An expert in audiovisual media, graduated from the Official School of Radio and Television, Miguel Blasco began his professional career at Radio Centro and Radio España, and subsequently developed an extensive career at TVE, where he held positions as director of Programming and Broadcasts, director of Territorial Centers, director of Programs at TVE International, head of Headquarters at the Barcelona 92 ​​Olympic Games, executive producer of satellite channels and director of Broadcasts at TVE Temática.

He actively participated in seminars, conferences and round tables on topics related to television programming, self-promotions, broadcast design, international satellite channels, DTT and thematic channels.
