Brainstorm will surround itself with top-level partners to deploy its 6.2 suite at IBC 2025
The graphics and virtual production tools of Brainstorm can be discovered in depth within the framework of IBC 2025 (September 12-15, Amsterdam), an event that will serve as the European presentation of Suite 6.2, the latest version of InfinitySet, Aston and eStudio.
The demo of Brainstorm in IBC 2025 will consist of a hybrid workflow that integrates real sets and virtual environments using a Modularpix Pro LED volume from Alfalite. The configuration is completed with the new generation of EOS C500 Mark II cameras and CN-E Cinema Prime lenses from Canon, mounted on Arcam/IO.Bot robotic motion control systems from XD Motion.
The deployment will demonstrate compatibility with remote control settings, a solution that adapts to those environments with space or personnel limitations. To achieve this, Brainstorm has certified the new technology of Canon metadata transmission for virtual production, streamlining camera and lens calibration and improving visual coherence.
Throughout the four days of IBC 2025, visitors will be able to learn about all of the InfinitySet, Aston and eStudio. The advantages of the version 6.2 will be displayed through a dynamic data-driven weather program that combines augmented reality (RA) y virtual production. Driven by InfinitySet y Unreal Engine 5, the demo will feature advanced capabilities including multi-scene management, talent teleportation, and hyper-realistic AR graphics with advanced VR technologies. rendering which include Gaussian splatters, showing how InfinitySet mixes real and virtual production in real time.
This demo also highlights the raw processing power and optimized performance of the InfinitySet software. Thanks to compatibility with doble GPU and the Blackwell architecture of NvidiaRecently certified, a single workstation can handle complex virtual production tasks, spanning LED and chroma key arrays, multiple camera inputs, and real-time AR graphics.
The Brainstorm showcase is complemented by new features Aston designed for data-driven augmented reality graphics and collaborative, multi-channel workflows. One of the main new features is Instances, a centralized asset system that allows designers to reuse precompositions in templates and projects. These graphics can be embedded in immersive virtual environments, including Unreal Engine scenes, allowing for seamless interaction with both the talent and the virtual set. Furthermore, in the educational field, they will be shown EdisonGO, a custom capture environment that provides video and tracking information from an iPad, and Edison OnCloud, a subscription-based web service that allows any user to create immersive presentations in the cloud.
David Alexander, commercial director of Brainstorm, anticipates the arrival of the Spanish firm at the Amsterdam fair: "We are delighted to return to IBC and highlight the powerful capabilities that our products bring to content creators. As virtual production continues to expand in the broadcast, film and corporate sectors, Brainstorm's decades of experience in real-time 3D graphics ensures that our clients maintain their competitive advantage."
