FilmLight returns to IBC for the first time since 2019 to present the latest version of Nara
FilmLight will unveil a set of innovative Nara features at IBC 2025 (September 12-15, Booth 6 C19) and will offer a series of demonstrations of the latest Baselight innovations at the nhow Amsterdam RAI Hotel (September 13-14), including practical tips and tricks on how colorists can use the new tools, as well as a preview of future features.
Nara is an integrated workflow solution that optimizes multimedia processes and improves collaboration between creative teams allowing tasks that were previously complicated and laborious to be carried out quickly and easily, such as reviews, approvals and regulatory compliance processes, which represents a saving time and moneyor for installations in the creative process. The essence of Nara is its ability to decode and play media natively no need to transcode them to proxy files; color accurate transmission; a complete back-end index; unparalleled codec support and much more.
“Our clients come to us to help them improve the efficiency of their workflows,” he says. Sam Lempp, director of business development at Nara. "Nara solves more than one problem: it is an integrated solution that can replace multiple tools and significantly reduce SaaS costs. It allows users to easily and securely browse their entire facility storage, play any content (supports more than 160 formats, including all camera RAW files) with complete color accuracy, collaborate and review with team members, and much more. We are looking forward to returning to RAI and introducing the latest version of Nara to attendees at this year's IBC."
IBC visitors will be able to explore Nara's expanded set of tools, including Secure Client Review feature, which allows users to stream multimedia content directly to clients with complete security and guaranteed accuracy. With enterprise-grade encryption and access controls to protect sensitive content, Nara ensures perfect color reproduction and frame-accurate playback, so customers see exactly what is intended. Customers can also leave time-coded notes and comments directly on the media, streamlining feedback and communication in the review process.
Other new features to be introduced include real-time transcoding, the improved project management, he advanced analysis, a tighter integration with Baselight and the new compatibility with third-party tools, making it easier than ever to connect Nara to existing production and post-production workflows.
