Support for Microsoft Teams in the latest version of Quicklink TX (Skype TX)

The interoperability of Microsoft Teams now within Quicklink TX has opened a whole new world of opportunities for professional quality broadcast productions.

Quicklink has announced that Microsoft Teams now supports the latest version of Quicklink TX (Skype TX). With this compatibility it is now possible integrate Microsoft Teams contributions in broadcast quality for talk shows, entertainment, radio and other live speaking events.

Quicklink TX is a call management system designed in collaboration with Microsoft. The solution allows professional reception and transmission of multiple video calls Skype via an SDI and HDMI interface. However, thanks to this interoperability, broadcasters and production companies can now achieve global access to millions of users through the Microsoft Team's 75 million daily active users, in addition to accessing millions of Skype users.

Richard Rees, CEO of Quicklink, comments that "the interoperability of Microsoft Teams now within Quicklink TX has opened a whole new world of opportunities for professional quality broadcast productions. Integrating remote contributions through Microsoft Teams and Skype has never been easier."

The solution, powered by Skype TX, has already been used by more than 1,200 international broadcasters, including the BBC, CNN, ESPN and Al Jazeera.
