Audio-Technica inaugurates an immersive showroom with Dolby Atmos technology in Madrid

The Immersive Showroom Experience opens its doors, a pioneering immersive showroom in Spain with technology Dolby Atmos from which Audio-Technica will demonstrate the potential of various professional audio solutions aimed at commercial, corporate and cultural environments.

He showroom has been developed to allow integrators, sound engineers, acoustic consultants, architects, space designers and technical installation managers, experience in a practical way the most advanced surround audio technologies and their integration possibilities in commercial, cultural, educational and corporate environments. From applications for theme parks, museums, clubs, auditoriums or live shows, to solutions designed for corporate, educational or broadcast environments, the showroom is conceived as a technological laboratory where the visitor can not only listen, but also understand in depth the technical architecture, system design and large-scale audiovisual integration.

With this strategic initiative, Audio-Technica positions itself as the first company in Spain in having a demo environment immersive audio with Dolby Atmos technology, thus consolidating its commitment to innovation, specialized training and technical guidance for professionals in the audiovisual sector. First level technical infrastructure

The showroom takes shape around a fully digital infrastructure protocol based Dante, industry standard for audio transmission over IP network. This architecture allows interconnect all systems, facilitating the management and centralized control of the space through a dynamic operating environment, which can be reconfigured in real time to simulate different types of facilities.

All Dante systems installed in the showroom are interconnected through the digital matrix Allen & Heath AHM-64, equipped with a Dante card, allowing the management of up to 64 network audio signals with minimal latency and total flexibility in signal routing. This infrastructure enables a completely digital and scalable workflow, ready to handle even the most complex configurations.

Global control of the space is managed through a touch screen CC-10, which operates with the software Custom Control de Allen & Heath, facilitando el manejo de las distintas zonas y proporcionando al usuario un acceso intuitivo y dinámico a las configuraciones de sistema. Adicionalmente, la zona estéreo de Optimal Audio dispone de un interface de control independiente basado en WebApp, permitiendo ajustes rápidos y personalizados según las necesidades del proyecto.

Specialized areas of the Audio-Technica immersive showroom

The showroom is divided into different functional areas, each designed to showcase specific technologies and allow visitors to experience specific applications:

• Immersive Audio Zone with two independent systems 7.1.4:
  • Genelec Smart IP (Dante + PoE+), composed of 7 model 4430 speakers, 4 4420 speakers and 2 3340 subwoofers, designed to offer controlled dispersion and perfect aesthetic integration, with power and signal via Ethernet cable (PoE+).
  • Martin Audio FlexPoint (Dante + Analog), configured with 11 FP4 speakers, an SX115 subwoofer and 3 IK41 amplifiers, optimized for applications in which directivity and acoustic power are a priority.
• Complete integration with the Dolby Atmos environment, capable of reproducing content with exceptional spatial precision.
• Playing content via Dolby Atmos Renderer and platforms like Apple Music, operating on a Mac Mini system connected to a 75” monitor, for a fully immersive visual and sound experience.
• Management and calibration processes executed through Genelec ORIA y Allen & Heath AHM-64, guaranteeing the highest acoustic fidelity and a coherent response throughout the space.
• Stereo Audio Zone
  • speaker system Optimal Audio, integrated with Zone8P and SmartAmp30 processors, allowing personalized configurations and controlled remotely through WebApp, a tool that provides the installer with maximum operational flexibility for commercial environments.
• Debate Zone
  • Wireless system ATUC-IS with four ATUC-M43H/ATUC-M32L units, designed to offer accurate voice pickup and high intelligibility in meeting rooms or institutional spaces.
  • Dante connectivity to the digital mixer ATDM-1012DAN, ensuring low latency and full compatibility with the rest of the digital infrastructure.
  • Integration of automatic video tracking with the ATUC-IR system, using two cameras AVer TR211 and server MT300, allowing automatic monitoring of interlocutors for a maximum quality audiovisual experience.
• Conference Area
  • Meeting table equipped with array microphones ATND1061DANas well as ceiling microphone solutions ES954 y ES964, all of them optimized for conference and boardroom environments that require maximum aesthetics and acoustic performance.
