SpoTV: Satellite to IP Workflow with Open Broadcast Systems

The C-100 decoders Open Broadcast Systems allow SpoTV, an Asian sports service, manage the transition of its satellite workflow to IP environments.

The solutions of Open Broadcast Systems admit high-quality, low-latency video, as well as a flexible deployment of contribution in pure software or in a wide variety of high-density chassis. The company shipped the equipment directly to subsidiaries throughout Asia of SpoTV as part of a turnkey solution for the provision of high-quality, low-latency broadcasting services carried out in collaboration with Zixi.

Open Broadcast Systems decoders are certified in Zen Master, a solution that Spotv takes advantage of for its MCR managed virtually, allowing you to distribute live video over IP with ultra-low latency, overcoming problems such as packet loss and signal drops. The initiative will also allow Spotv to offer different versions of content to different regions using the peripheral distribution, as well as centrally supervise subsidiaries.
