XD Motion transversally improves its catalog for XR, VP and aerial production environments at IBC 2025

An extensive fleet of robotic systems joins the latest version of IO.BOT software at the stand XD Motion, company recently acquired by EVS that takes advantage of its presence in IBC 2025 to present updates to its range of solutions aimed at mixed reality and virtual production environments, as well as aerial productions.

The new Box 15, a high-speed robotic arm designed for precise and repeatable movements, leads the selection of XD novelties Motion for the Amsterdam fair. Composed of six axles, this solution provides total freedom of 3D movement within a virtual sphere, which has a 2.5 meter operating diameter.

The Arcam 15, which joins other models in the range (5, 10, 20 y 30), is displayed accompanied by a wide selection of the company's hardware: X Dolly, a rail system that offers movement on both straight and curved rails; X track mini, which can be used with a PTZ or 2-axis remote head and mounted vertically or horizontally on the floor or ceiling, and X tower, a silent vertical lift for creating dynamic, elevated shots in any studio environment.

In the field of advanced aerial solutions, XD Motion has brought its cablecam badge: the model X fly 1D. The system, designed to take dynamic shots in a single dimension, allows long distances to be covered at high speed and height. The system is combined with the GSS Cineflex 512 gimbal, the GSS B512 model and the GSS C510 compact model.

On the other hand, for those productions that require speed and flexibility in delicate environments, the company presents the X fly micro L. Created for quick setups by a single operator, it can be installed with slight tension between fixing points, making it easy to deploy on protected heritage sites or historic buildings.

The range of aerial solutions is completed with Microlight Live, a solution defined in collaboration with NoGravity Films which seeks to fill the operational gap between helicopters and drones. This ULM offers “the ultimate solution” for live streaming with long lenses and large sensors by combining a low carbon footprint and a long flight autonomy of 3 to 4 hours with “exceptionally quiet” operation.
