Prime Video brings the latest Wattpad phenomenon to the screen

Prime Video, with production from Federation Spain, begins filming 'Perfect Liars', a film based on the literary phenomenon of Wattpad, written by Alex Mírez, which has captivated millions of readers around the world.

The film, which has already begun filming in Madrid, is directed by Jesus Colmenar (The Money Heist) and starring Irene Balmes (The Messiah) in the role of Jude Derry. It is produced by Federation Spain with Juan Solá (Retribution) and Mark Albela (Awareness) as producers. Ángela Armero (If I Were Rich) and Jesús Colmenar are the scriptwriters.

Federation Spain is a Spanish production company founded by Juan Solá together with Federation Studios, with works such as The Crystal Girls, a musical drama nominated for the Goya for Best Soundtrack; Awareness, the second most viewed film in Spanish in the world during the year of its premiere on Prime Video; Ayla and the Mirrors, a youth series with an innovative format; Dawn in Samana, a romantic comedy with Luis Tosar and Luis Zahera; and Nails, a comedy series with Cristina Castaño, Fernando Tejero and Marimar Vega.

In Perfect liars, Jude Derry arrives at this exclusive university with a hidden mission: to infiltrate the Cash brothers' circle to discover the truth about his brother's death. The three heirs of the family empire, Aegan, the charismatic and calculating firstborn, Adrik, the enigmatic and mysterious middle brother, and Alex, the rebellious and unpredictable little brother, dominate Tags with a magnetism that no one can resist. What begins as a personal vendetta transforms into a dangerous triangle of seduction, forbidden attraction, and lies when Jude she becomes involved in the complex family dynamics of the Cash. With each clue she discovers, she gets closer to a truth that could not only destroy the powerful family... but also reveal secrets that she herself may not be prepared to face.
