Prime Video will adapt the series 'The one that is coming' in Portugal

Portugal will have its own version of the popular series 'La que se cerca' that will be produced jointly by Prime Video, the production company See My Dreams and the TVI channel.

The series, still untitled and whose adaptation rights have been sold Mediterranean Mediaset España Group, will premiere on TVI and on Prime Video in Portugal as part of the Prime subscription.

The Portuguese adaptation of the series will tell the story of the daily life of a community of neighbors in a condominium on the outskirts of Lisbon. To take advantage of difficulties in the Portuguese housing market, the developer promised the new owners features that the condo didn't really have, leaving them to deal with defective apartments, intercoms that don't work, and walls so thin that privacy is an illusion.

The remake of The one that is coming in Portugal, its artistic cast will include renowned actors in this country such as Diogo Morgado, (La Biblia, Hijo de Dios), Alexandra Lencastre, Tiago Teotónio Pereira, Bárbara França, Miguel Raposo, Miguel Guilherme, Fernando Pires, Diogo Valsassina and Margarida Bakker.

The Portuguese will be the third international remake of the series, after its adaptations in Italy (Canale 5) and in Greece (Skai TV).

Created by Alberto and Laura Caballero and Daniel Deorador y produced by Mediaset Spain in collaboration with Contubernio Films, the original Spanish version is one of the longest-running and most successful series in the history of television in our country.
