Prime Video begins filming the series 'Red Queen'

Koldo Serra (Without traces, The paper house) dirigirá Red Queen, la adaptación de la exitosa trilogía de Juan Gómez-Jurado producida por Dopamine y Focus que se estrenará próximamente en Prime Video en más de 240 países y territorios.

Vicky Luengo y Hovik Keuchkerian encabezan un reparto en el que también figuran Alex Brendemühl, Nacho Fresneda, Emma Suárez, Urko Olazábal y Selam Ortega, entre otros.

The series, whose filming has already begun in Madrid, addresses the story of Antonia Scott who, with an IQ of 242, is officially the most intelligent person on Earth. Her intelligence earned her the Red Queen of a secret and experimental police project, but what seemed like a gift became a curse, and she ended up losing everything. When the son of a powerful magnate is found grotesquely murdered in her mansion, and the daughter of the richest man in Spain is kidnapped, the Red Queen organization is launched.

Mentor, Antonia's former boss, turns to Jon Gutiérrez, a temperamental Basque police officer about to be fired from the force, to reactivate Antonia. The twisted game of cat and mouse in which Jon and Antonia find themselves involved during their investigation will also help them discover that they admire and complement each other almost as much as they irritate each other. Red Queen is a disturbing thriller in which the city of Madrid is another protagonist, and which combines the urgency and action of the investigation with the juicy and humorous chemistry between its two protagonists.

Red Queen is produced by Dopamine y Focus con Amaya Muruzábal as showrunner and executive producer. The script is written by Salvador Perpigná and Muruzábal herself.
