Filming of the second season of 'Red Queen' begins

The saga of writer Juan Gómez-Jurado continues its adaptation to series format with the start of filming of the second season of 'Reina Roja', original of Prime Video which will recount in this new stage the adventures that Antonia Scott and Jon Gutiérrez lived in the second book of the trilogy: 'Black Wolf'.

In the second season of Red Queen, based on Black Wolf, the police duo must solve a crime related to the russian mafia on the Costa del Sol, following the suspicious disappearance of Lola, the wife of a gangster who lives in constant flight. This thriller “packed with action and suspense”, set in the city of Malaga, will once again be directed by Koldo Serra (Without traces, The paper house).

The new delivery is a production of Focus Studios (Group Focus) y Dopamine with Josep Amorós as executive producer, along with Koldo Serra himself, Pere Roca and Helena Medina, who also serves as scriptwriter for the season along with Salvador Perpigná. Beyond the leading roles of Victoria Luengo (Riot Police, The Room Next Door) y Hovik Keuchkerian (The paper house, One love), Adriana Torrebejano (Alpha Males, No Traces), Silvia Abascal (Montecristo, Garcia!), Mauricio Morales (Dressed in blue, anyway), Put Lemonjava (Sin huellas, In from the Cold), Javiera Sky (The awakening, Til death do us part) and Féodor Atkine(Love and death, Ronin). Vicenta N'Dongo (Better days, in the city), Karmele Larrinaga (Go!azen, Ane), Fernando Guallar (Luis Miguel: The series, Behind the wall), Alex Brendemühl (The Believer, Gabrielle's Dream) and Bruno Sevilla (The body on fire, A Town Called Malice), will reprise their respective roles in the second season of the series.

This is the synopsis of the second installment of Red Queen: "Antonia Scott (our Red Queen and the most intelligent person on the planet) and Jon Gutiérrez (her squire, a temperamental gay police officer), must solve a crime related to the Russian mafia on the Costa del Sol, following the suspicious disappearance of Lola, the wife of a gangster who lives on the run. Lola is also pursued by Black Wolf, a hired assassin who will test Antonia's intelligence. Antonia and Jon will find themselves in the middle of a network of corruption and conspiracy that extends much further than they could have imagined, while their relationship is on the line, due to a chain of secrets and mistrust. At the same time, Mentor follows the trail of the suspicious deaths of other Red Queens throughout Europe, a situation that could endanger the lives of our two protagonists.
