Spanish Television begins filming the tvmovie 'A world for Julius', based on the novel by Bryce Echenique
Filming, a co-production of Spain, Peru and Argentina with direction and script by Rossana Díaz Costa, has begun in Lima and will continue for a month.
Filming of the new tvmovie has begun in Lima (Peru) A world for Julius, co-production of Spanish Television con VisionaTV and the producers Tombuktú Films (Peru) and Machaco Films (Argentina), adaptation of the novel of the same name by Alfredo Bryce Echenique.
Directed and produced by Rossana Diaz Costa, autora también de la adaptación de la novela, la nueva ficción está protagonizada por Fiorella de Ferrari (Susan), Gonzalo Torres (Juan Lastarria), Mayella Lloclla (Vilma), Fernando Bacilio (Celso) y los niños Rodrigo Barba (Julius menor) y Augusto Linares (Julius mayor). Nacho Fresneda (El Ministerio del Tiempo, Amar en tiempos revueltos) dará vida a Juan Lucas y Xavier Sardá será el Padre Javier.
The premiere of A world for Julius It is scheduled for 2020, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the publication of the novel, one of the most important literary works in the Hispanic world and of which one million copies have been sold in Spain. Filming will take place entirely in Lima and will last four weeks.
