Shure's ADX5D, key to the sound on the set of 'Reina Roja' (Prime Video)
Asier González, sound technician, decided to use the ADX5D portable receiver from Shure during the filming of the series 'Reina Roja', which adapts the novel of the same name by Juan Gómez-Jurado.
For González, this demanding shoot, which spanned 24 weeks of recording in several emblematic locations in Madrid, required solutions that provided “portability and lightweight autonomous receivers.” Examining the market, the sound technician considered that the portable receiver ADX5D of Shure could be the solution I needed: “After seeing some tests online, I requested a test from Iberalp, and they gave me a demonstration in Earpro&EES”.
After that presentation, Asier decided on two plug-on wireless transmitters Axient Digital AD3 for your booms and the ADX5D. The satisfaction is complete: “I have released it with Red Queen and I couldn't be happier with the sound quality and the stability and range of the signal. I will definitely expand my Axient Digital team for future projects.”
Red Queen, a series that will premiere on the platform Prime Video, has been directed by the Bilbao director Koldo Serra. Unax Mendia, who has served as director of photography, transmitted some technological keys of Red Queen in this Panorama Audiovisual report.
