RTVE - University of Cádiz - Haz Project

The new agreement of RTVE (via Beam Project) with the University of Cádiz (UCA) aims to promote the “creative vocation and the art of telling stories” through greater dissemination of the training offer of Haz's online courses.

The presentation ceremony of the agreement, which took place in Degree Hall of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the city of Cadiz, has had the participation of the person responsible for Institutional Relations of the Haz Project, Sonsoles Miranda, who highlighted that the purpose of this agreement is “to bring audiovisual training to all citizens.” On the other hand, the general director of Strategic Communication of the UCA, Leticia Rodríguez, has participated in the presentation highlighting the importance of this agreement.

The day included the talk "Five and action, get excited and excited. Discover your art of storytelling" taught by the showrunner, director of fiction series such as My lovely neighbors, SMS o one step forward and Haz teacher, Gustavo Cotta. The expert has reflected on the essential role of emotion in audiovisual narrative and its techniques, with the purpose of discovering and enhancing one's own creative voice.

The event was closed by the technical coordinator of the UCA Film School, Bruto Pomeroy, who stressed that "I think this collaboration agreement is going to help us a lot to make Cádiz a benchmark for Andalusian, of course, and Spanish cinematography."

The training offer of Beam Project has 100% online courses lasting 150 hours. This training, aimed at professionals and people interested in the audiovisual sector from 16 years of age. The wide range of courses allows specialization in key areas of the audiovisual sector: image, sound, artificial intelligence, audiovisual business or production and media.

The training, taught by active industry professionals, is practical, tutored and focused on employability. Additionally, the courses are certified by RTVE Institute, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA).
