CMM kicks off the celebration of its 25th anniversary with an ambitious multichannel campaign
An extensive program of events, events and special content will accompany the 25th anniversary of Middle Castile-La Mancha (CMM), a public radio and television entity that has started the celebration with an event held on its flagship television set.
The event has served to publicize a commemoration conceived as an exercise in memory, recognition and projection of the future, which values the public service vocation of regional radio and television and its role as witness and narrator of the recent history of the region during the last quarter of a century. To commemorate a story that continues to be written today, CMM will deploy in 2026 a multichannel and multiformat campaign which will combine institutional events, special programming on television and radio, digital actions and presence on the street under the motto “25 years beating with you.”
Castilla-La Mancha Media's 25th anniversary campaign is based on a powerful visual and emotional metaphor: The silhouette of the region, whose profile is reminiscent of a heart, becomes the symbol of a land that beats and of a public environment that has beat with it for a quarter of a century. CMM thus claims its role as audiovisual memory of Castilla-La Mancha, a medium that has accompanied its people in every achievement, challenge and celebration, narrating the life that happens in, from and for the community. The objective is reinforce knowledge, identification and legitimization of the CMM brand as a close, committed public medium deeply rooted in the territory.
Throughout 2026, the celebration will be present transversally in the CMM programming, with special programs and content that will review the informative, social and cultural evolution of Castilla-La Mancha. Emblematic spaces and great coverage, such as festivals, Carnival, Easter, rural or cultural initiatives, will incorporate the visual and narrative identity of the anniversary.
Regarding the audiovisual strategy, this includes a institutional video that will cover 25 symbolic actions linked to the heart, accompanied by historical images of CMM, as well as different series of audiovisual pills that will remember moments, curiosities and milestones of these 25 years, with special prominence on social networks and digital platforms
The commemoration will go beyond the screens: among the main events on the calendar, the FORTA Program Commission, which will be held in March and where the Pello Sarasola national award; the great concert of Radio Castilla-La Mancha, scheduled for May 30, coinciding with the start of radio broadcasts 25 years ago; the FORTA General Meeting, in the month of June, and 25th anniversary grand gala, which will take place in December to commemorate the beginning of television broadcasts and will put the finishing touch to an especially significant year for the network.

El evento de presentación tuvo como maestros de ceremonias a los presentadores de CMM Carlos Macías y Mariló Leal, who presented a dynamic and emotional event that combined audiovisuals, music and testimonies, and that covered the main milestones in the history of regional public radio and television. Before representatives of the Castilian-La Mancha society and with live broadcast through CMMPlay, The presenters highlighted the role of CMM as an audiovisual memory of the Community, the work of its professionals and the close connection of the medium with the territory.
The meeting included a round table with workers from different areas who shared anecdotes and memories from the beginnings of the chain, highlighting the evolution and transformation experienced in these 25 years. In her speech, the general director of Castilla-La Mancha Media, Carmen Amores, highlighted the 25th anniversary as an opportunity to celebrate, recognize and look to the future from the path traveled. Amores repeatedly appealed to "heart" as a symbolic axis of the anniversary, highlighting CMM's commitment to public service, regional identity and rigorous and plural information. Expressly thanked the work of the almost 600 professionals who make the house's radio, television and digital platforms possible, vindicating the role of public media as guarantors of democratic quality and social cohesion.
Finally, he stressed that the anniversary events will revolve around the idea of Castilla-La Mancha as “the heart of Spain” and reaffirmed CMM's commitment to face the challenges of the next 25 years with responsibility and a vocation for service. For his part, the second vice president of the Junta de Castilla-La Mancha, Jose Manuel Caballero, congratulated CMM for “valuing the elements of the identity of Castilla-La Mancha” and the citizens of the region for having radio and television “an instrument for better information and democratic strengthening of our land.”
