The RF 7-14mm f/2.8-3.5L Fisheye STM and RF 14mm f/1.4L VCM L-series models join the ultra-wide angle lens ecosystem of Canon willing to grant new creative possibilities to filmmakers and photographers.

The RF 14mm f/1.4L VCM consists of three aspherical molded glass (GMo) lenses that suppress the sagittal coma optic veil, allowing point sources of light to be represented clearly, while fluorite, BR and UD lenses reduce chromatic aberrations. Flare and ghosting are minimized thanks to Canon's advanced SWC and ASC coatings.

Additionally, the hybrid design of the RF 14mm f/1.4L VCM, which incorporates precise capability for AF tracking together with the suppression of frame variation when changing the focus point, as well as an 11-blade circular aperture and a specific ring for aperture control, make it a lens compatible with video applications.
