Canon RF 7-14 mm f 28-3 5L FISHEYE STM

The RF 7-14mm f/2.8-3.5L Fisheye STM and RF 14mm f/1.4L VCM L-series models join the ultra-wide angle lens ecosystem of Canon willing to grant new creative possibilities to filmmakers and photographers.

He RF 7-14 mm f/2,8-3,5L FISHEYE STM, in combination with a full frame EOS R camera, STM provides two different image styles: A 190° ultra-wide-angle circular image with a fisheye at 7mm and a 180° diagonal image with a frame-filling fisheye at 14mm. With APS-C cameras, the maximum angle can be set to approximately 8.7 mm, to cover the entire format with 180° diagonal fisheye2 images.

Building on the huge success of the pioneering EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM, the RF 7-14mm f/2.8-3.5L Fisheye STM features a more angular, faster and lighter design, as well as improved quality. The system sets up a system of insert filters rear that improves the comfort of use, since it allows adjustments to be made in real time with circular polarizing filters and variable ND, making it possible for photographers and filmmakers to precisely control lighting in any situation. Likewise, it stands out for offering a luminous aperture 2.8 – 3.5 and have a design resistant to dust and humidity.

In its construction, it incorporates two aspherical lenses replica type to suppress spherical aberrations, five UD lenses to reduce chromatic aberrations, as well as ASC coatings to reduce ghosting and ghosting. In this way, it can operate even with a minimum focusing distance of only 0.15 m.

RF 14mm f/1,4L VCM de Canon

Next to him RF 7-14 mm f/2,8-3,5L Fisheye STM model has been presented RF 14mm f/1,4L VCM, defined as a “new milestone” in the “excellence” of wide-angle lenses. With its wide 114° diagonal angle of view and exceptionally bright f/1.4 aperture, it provides flexibility when shooting in low light or when seeking a shallow depth of field to help isolate your subject.

The RF 14mm f/1.4L VCM consists of three aspherical molded glass (GMo) lenses that suppress the sagittal coma optic veil, allowing point sources of light to be represented clearly, while fluorite, BR and UD lenses reduce chromatic aberrations. Flare and ghosting are minimized thanks to Canon's advanced SWC and ASC coatings.

Additionally, the hybrid design of the RF 14mm f/1.4L VCM, which incorporates precise capability for AF tracking together with the suppression of frame variation when changing the focus point, as well as an 11-blade circular aperture and a specific ring for aperture control, make it a lens compatible with video applications.
