Dazn will broadcast the 2026 FIFA World Cup exclusively on pay television

The OTT platform Dazn has closed an agreement with Mediapro Group for the exclusive broadcast on pay television of the 104 matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026, which will take place between June 11 and July 19.

The 2026 World Cup will be held in 16 stadiums spread across United States, Canada and Mexico. The most important event in world sport can be enjoyed in full, live and on demand, for the first time on DAZN, including the participation of the Spanish national team, as well as the rest of the great favorites to win the trophy.

DAZN will soon announce details about the coverage y marketing of the channel in its different plans. Óscar Vilda, CEO of Dazn Spain and Portugal, explains that, in any case, "for football fans in Spain, this is a historic moment. We are very happy to announce that the 2026 FIFA World Cup can be enjoyed entirely on Dazn. With this agreement, we take a big step to democratize the greatest sporting spectacle in the world and make it even more accessible to fans in an innovative and flexible way."

Beyond on Dazn, Spanish viewers will be able to watch the matches of the Spanish team, as well as key matches of the tournament, open on RTVE.
