Movistar Plus+ will exclusively broadcast the new stage of the Davis Cup

The bet on tennis Movistar Plus+ It does not stop: the platform has renewed its alliance with the Davis Cup, a tournament that in 2025 will debut a remodeled format in which a total of 26 nations will participate.

The David Cup will leave its traditional group stage behind in 2025 to opt for two qualifying days and a grand final of 8. The first qualifying round will be from January 31 to February 2.

In this first round, the Spanish team will travel to Switzerland and all matches can be enjoyed through Movistar Plus+. There, three individual matches and one doubles match will be played to gain a place in the second round. Those selected for these matches are Pedro Martínez (44º ATP), Roberto Carballés (57º ATP), Jaume Munar (62º ATP) y Martín Landaluce (142º ATP).

The new Davis Cup joins other major tennis formats broadcast by Movistar Plus+ such as US Open, Wimbledon or Roland Garros. These, together with competitions such as LALIGA, the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, NBA, Euroleague, Premier Padel or NFL, continue to underline the importance of sports in Movistar Plus+'s content commitment.
