Formula 1 and MotoGP return to Mediaset Spain

Five key events on the motorsports calendar, the Grand Prix of Fórmula 1 of Madrid and Barcelona and the races of MotoGP from Jerez, Barcelona and Valencia, can be seen openly and live on Mediaset Spain thanks to the agreement reached with DAZN y MotoGP Sports Entertainment Group.

The followers of the Fórmula 1 You will be able to fully enjoy the open Madrid Grand Prix (September 11-13), which will debut on the world calendar and will mean a historic event for Spanish motorsport, with the arrival of the competition to the capital for the first time in more than four decades, and Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (June 12-14), whose free-to-air broadcast by the company will reach its sixth consecutive year.

In the field of motorcycling, the agreement will allow Mediaset España to offer openly three emblematic events of MotoGP: el Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez (April 24-26), Catalan Grand Prix (May 15-17) and Grand Prix of the Valencian Community (November 20-22), events that attract thousands of fans each season.

With this alliance, Mediaset España aims to reinforce its commitment to the “dissemination of open sports” and the coverage of the “great motor events”, thus facilitating “spectator access to top-level competitions and helping to bring these sporting events closer to the wide audience that follows them in Spain.”
