Bitkernel joins the crusade against LaLiga piracy
LaLiga, DirecTV Latin America y Sky Brasil sign an agreement together with the international internet services group Bitkernel to continue combating audiovisual fraud in live sports broadcasts through a process of “elimination, blocking and deletion” of unauthorized websites, platforms and brands within the framework of a judicial process.
Based on the aforementioned agreement and as a streaming platform, Bitkernel is committed to improving its complaints management procedure. Likewise, it will promote appropriate practices in matter of rights of author, according to another agreement signed earlier this year.
The integration of Bitkernel Group in the ecosystem of collaborators of LaLiga, DirecTV Latin America and SKY Brazil reinforces the global nature of the fight against piracy, and the need for a joint action of all the actors involved against “the number one threat to the sports and entertainment industry today.”
LaLiga continues to carry out all kinds of initiatives to protect the competition. One of his latest projects was the reinforcement of his Complaints Channel, a confidential tool that allows citizens to collaborate in the detection of establishments of the HORECA sector that broadcast content fraudulently.
