3Cat reinvents the dating show with artificial intelligence: this is 'The Big Date'
The influencer Dulceida presents 'The Big Date', a mass dating format produced by 3Cat in collaboration with Incís TV that seeks to challenge “artificial intelligence.”
The big date is defined as a “large entertainment format” and a “unique television experiment” designed to connect with a young audience matching reality, emotion and technology. Aimed at the digital platform 3Cat, will seek to answer a question: “can artificial intelligence predict love more accurately than human spontaneity?”
The program starts with a striking image: 100 people gathered to participate in the largest blind date ever seen on television in southern Europe. All of them have been analyzed by a team of AI experts, that has identified 50 highly compatible couples. Neither the contestants nor the audience will know who these couples are until a key moment in the show.
Throughout 8 episodes, participants will live an experience that goes far beyond the traditional dating. They will pass through three phases: the formation of couples, the evolution of their relationships and the final decision. In this way, The big date will have surprise dynamics, speed dating, couch dates, family gatherings, unexpected secrets, a 48 hour getaway and a final twist that could turn everything upside down: discover if the person they have chosen is their ideal partner according to AI.
The experiment ends with “The big decision", an exciting finale in which the couples, after experiencing a real emotional roller coaster, must decide if they want to stay together once the program ends. The audience will also discover which couples are still together months later.
