TVU MediaMesh - Grass Valley AMPP

The AMPP cloud platform of Grass Valley will demonstrate its interoperability with MediaMesh from TVU during NAB 2026 (April 19-22, Las Vegas), which will allow broadcasters and content owners to interconnect both production platforms in the cloud to improve their workflows.

As explained TVU, the impact of this strategic alliance between both companies is “immediate and tangible.” The integration allows the two-way asset exchange between modular cloud infrastructure MediaMesh and fully virtualized production environment AMPP, which in practice means that the sources detected in an ecosystem are instantly accessible on the other.

The users of MediaMesh can access and incorporate sources from environments AMPP, while AMPP users can take advantage of the devices, sources and services connected to MediaMesh; all this, without redundant infrastructure or complex reconfigurations. In this way, production teams can now share sources, processing power and distribution channels between geographically dispersed operations as if they were in the same control room.

The result is a “dramatically faster” implementation, lower operational complexity and the flexibility to assemble the right tools for each production. John Wastcoat, senior director of business development at TVU Networks, adds that the alliance represents a “huge step forward” in being able to offer its clients “the flexibility to create the best workflows without being limited by platform boundaries.”

From Grass Valley, Adam Marshall, Product Manager, adds: "AMPP was designed to provide maximum flexibility and scalability for modern production workflows. By integrating with TVU MediaMesh, we extend that flexibility even further, allowing customers to connect more sources, services and destinations across the live production ecosystem."
