'Rescat': the new original contest on the Catalan language on RTVE

The 2Cat (RTVE), in collaboration with Manchester, produce 'Rescat', an original format presented by Peter Vives and supervised by linguist Míriam Martín in which the contestants will face challenges of agility, creativity and Catalan linguistic culture.

In rescue, three contestants They compete in different tests with the aim of reaching a final focused on “anagrams” with the help of the wild card “Rescat!”. The first phase of the format includes three linguistic challenges in which contestants earn points based on their correct answers: The Escalade It consists of forming words from another; in The unfinished letter, after listening to a fragment of a song, participants must find the missing word by combining the syllables of a grid, and, in The invented word, They will have to create false words to confuse their rivals.

The best two advance to the third round, The duel, a test of speed and creativity in which contestants must form long words with a limited set of letters.
