'The connection': third Satisfaction Iberia contest for La 1

Presenter Lara Álvarez will lead 'The Connection', a contest with elements of augmented reality that will be seen on RTVE and which will be the third order for Satisfaction Iberia after the successful 'The Floor' and the recently announced 'Trivial Pursuit'.

The Connection it's a knowledge contest defined as “different and novel” that has the purpose of seeking the connection between all the responses that arise throughout the program. Dutch adaptation The Connection, in each installment five contestants who have something in common compete over five rounds.

In the first four, they must answer popular culture questions and curiosities based on videos, photos, montages or singular statements. The final round is iconic, due to its staging, and fast pace, since it is resolved in just three minutes.

The entire contest revolves around one unpublished premise, since the answers to all the questions lead to a single answer that is related to all of them: the “final connection”. The viewer will not be able to stop playing from home and look for the connections that arise through the images and clues of the program.

Beyond its concept, The connection seeks to stand out from the visual plane by being defined as the “first contest” that combines real elements with augmented reality, and the contestants will be placed on a set in which the questions and scenery will be “enhanced” by this resource.

It is something that catches you, because it is very playable from home. It is very striking because it is engaging."
