Daniel Domenjó

The producer, executive and presenter Daniel Domenjó launches, together with the French audiovisual group Satisfaction Group, the new production company Satisfaction Iberia with the aim of developing, adapting and producing content for the Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American markets, as well as reaching production agreements around the world.

Satisfaction Iberia will benefit from the creative and international potential of the French independent television group that, with a dozen companies under its control (eight of them television producers), bursts into the Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American audiovisual panorama after the agreement between Domenjó and the founder of Satisfaction Group, the French producer and television presenter Arthur Essebag.

The new company, which will address all genres, although initially will focus on entertainment, will have Domenjó as CEO, after he announced a few weeks ago his resignation from continuing to direct Mediacrest, a production company that he has led for the last five years and with which he has achieved great successes such as the fifteen seasons of The Hunter (TVE) or, more recently, prime time The Floor (Antena3), among others, or co-production agreements with global players such as ITV, Talpa, ViX or NHK.

Daniel Domenjó has highlighted the potential of the agreement and has highlighted "the vision and experience of all the production companies of Satisfaction Group, with a catalog full of successes and agreements worldwide such as those signed with the British giant Fulwell 73, Talpa Studios or Yes Yes Media, among others."

“This is an opportunity that I embrace with immense enthusiasm and commitment: by launching Satisfaction Iberia we are taking another step in the international consolidation of an innovative and inspiring group and, in addition, it allows me to learn from a great reference like Arthur,” Domenjó stressed.

Along these lines, Arthur Essebag has pointed out that with this association agreement "we continue to strategically expand our international presence to bring new programs to the screen. Spain, Portugal and France have a lot in common in audiovisual content; the combination of our knowledge will offer the market a new agile and innovative player." Likewise, Essebag has recognized Domenjó's “long career as a successful producer and senior executive.”

More than a thousand hours per year

Satisfaction Group, made up of a dozen companies, eight of which are production companies spanning all genres, is France's leading independent television group. Founded in 2010 by Arthur Essebag, the group has become a key player in the creation and production of formats in France and other countries, with notable successes such as comedy Anything Goes (adapted in almost 40 territories), Visual Suspect, Au Galop, The Villa of Broken Hearts, Who Wants to Be A Millionaire or, more recently, the upcoming adaptation of the format The Floor for France Television, under the title Conquering the ground.

Satisfaction Group produces more than 1,000 hours annually of television programs. Their experience and creative knowledge allow the group to create new formats every year, ranging from entertainment and reality shows, to large studio formats, documentaries, magazines and competitions. Its portfolio also extends to other genres such as fiction, live shows, digital content and institutional programs.

In 2020, Satisfaction Group marked a new stage in its growth with the acquisition of the French operations of Sony Pictures Television, including Sony Pictures Television France and Starling, specialized in the production of entertainment programs. In 2021, the group also formed a strategic partnership with TALPA Netherlands; In 2023, it acquired shares in the British production company Yes Yes Media and sealed a creative joint venture with the British giant. Fulwell 73, the James Corden.

As for Daniel Domenjó, he has created, directed, hosted and produced programs for the main public and private networks in Spain (TVE, Antena 3, Mediaset, Canal Sur, TV3, Telemadrid) in all types of genres. In the last five years he has successfully led the launch and consolidation of the production company Mediacrest, being responsible for large productions such as the fifteen seasons of El Cazador for TVE, prime time programs such as Mapi, The Night of the Hunters (TVE), The Floor (Antenna3), Zoo Chronicles (Discovery, Apunt, Canal Sur), The Solution (Telemadrid) or the fiction series in the process of recording Internal Affairs, among others.

Before creating and directing new companies, he accumulated more than 2,500 hours as a television presenter, most of them in daily live and prime time formats for the main Spanish networks (Telephoto, It's Happening, The Survivors Debate, The 2nd Debate, The List…).
