LiveU brings its proposal to transform live production with the “Q era” to MPTS 2026

LiveU invites visitors to MPTS 2026, The Grand Hall, Olympia, London (May 13-14), to delve into its unified and modular ecosystem proposal, led by its new LU900Q intelligent production unit.

Visitors will be able to see first-hand how the LU900Q offers resilience in IP contribution, allowing broadcasters to modernize their workflows at their own pace, making live production faster and more reliable than ever.

The LU900Q redefines what is possible in live streaming from the field. Powered by LiveU IQ (LIQ), with AI-powered mobile operator switching with integrated eSIM and optimized 5G modems with a MIMO antenna array, delivers reliable transmission from even the most difficult locations.

Designed as a modular production unit, the LU900Q seamlessly integrates with SDI, HDMI and IP production equipment (from ENG cameras and PTZ systems to drones and more), transforming the way broadcasters approach remote production of live news and sports. The unit supports high-end productions offering HD/4K resolution using 10-bit 4:2:2 HDR encoding, with up to 32 audio channels and dual camera input/output.

“Digital-First” Strategies

LiveU will also attend MPTS 2026 with LiveU Nexus, a proposition designed for rapidly growing “Digital-First” environments that simplifies ingestion and distribution by converting, normalizing and routing IP signals through protocols such as LRT, SRT and RTMP. LiveU Nexus connects social, online and remote feeds with traditional broadcast operations, allowing broadcasters to easily serve linear, digital and social platforms from a unified IP workflow.

As a complement to the acquisition and ingestion on the ground, it will also be presented in London LiveU Studio with expanded cloud-based IP live production capabilities, including the ability to distribute multiple signals in multiple formats from a single production. Workflow automation

LiveU will highlight how workflow automation is becoming essential as broadcasters face increasing production demands with smaller teams. For example, a live production that previously required separate planning, streaming, ingest and metadata workflows across multiple platforms can now be managed centrally (from scheduling to execution), significantly reducing operational expenses.
