Amadeus Acoustics at Eurovision 2026

Amadeus Acoustics will hold a technical webinar on May 21 focused on the immersive sound architecture developed for Eurovision Song Contest 2026, after having been designated as the official technical supplier of the contest.

The session, titled Amadeus' immersive sound at Eurovision 2026: when ART::IP becomes essential, will be aimed at sound engineers, consultants and technical managers of venues interested in large-scale immersive deployments. The webinar will be held on May 21 at 15:00 CET and will last approximately between 45 and 60 minutes.

The meeting will focus on the next edition of the festival, which will take place at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, as a practical case to address the technical challenges associated with sound spatialization in large capacity venues. According to Amadeus, one of the main challenges is maintain a consistent and accurate immersive experience for thousands of spectators distributed in different areas of the stadium, while preserving intelligibility and close acoustic perception.

To do this, Amadeus Acoustics will explain the operation of its motor ART::IP (Immersive Performance), designed to manage multi-zone configurations and optimize audio behavior individually in each area of ​​the venue.

ART::IP, spatial localization and 3D visualization

The webinar will delve into different aspects of the workflow developed for Eurovision 2026, including the general design of the system, the integration with ART::Director and the spatial location management of artists and sources sounds in real time.

The company will also show how it uses EASE and CAD data import within ART::Director to generate 3D visualization environments that facilitate the planning and adjustment of spatial panning without resorting to complex manual processes. Another highlight will be the explanation of the latency control algorithms used to maintain synchronization and spatial coherence throughout the venue, a critical aspect in large-format immersive productions.

The session will conclude with a question and answer block in which attendees will be able to interact directly with the engineers involved in the design of the audio system for Eurovision 2026.
