ETB ON (EITB) positions itself as a window to the festive and cultural events of the Basque Country

EITB - ETB ON - Cultural and festive events

With the aim of transmitting the emotion of the main events in the towns and cities of the Basque Country, EITB launches a project based on proximity and focused on the live broadcast of all types of festive, cultural and social events through the ETB ON platform.

Thanks to this initiative, viewers will be able to enjoy in real time great cultural events, in addition to celebrations and festivities such as San Antonio in Urkiola, the Pucheras of Balmaseda or the Tamborrada of San Sebastián. Zubigainekoa in Lesaka, Baionako Bestak, the Day of the Blouse and the Neska in Vitoria-Gasteiz, the Disembarkation of Juan Sebastián Elcano in Getaria or Santo Tomás in Bilbao and Donostia are other events already confirmed by the editorial team of Basque public radio and television.

EITB It will have different presenters who, together with reporters and guests, will seek to turn the screen into a “common meeting point.” Although all events will be broadcast on the platform ETB ON and in the channel YouTube of EITB, some of them can also be followed through Euskal Telebista, in ETB1, ETB1 ON or ETB2 ON. This is the case of the festival of San Antonio in Urkiola, which will be broadcast this Saturday, at 11:30 a.m., on ETB1 and ETB1 ON and on the ETB ON platform.

Two other live events will also be broadcast throughout this month of June: Measles on June 29 from Lekeitio (10:45), and the events on the occasion of the San Martial festival, on June 30, from Irun, with the broadcast of the boasts (07:30-09:15 and 10:15-13:15).

This coverage will be completed with exclusive content broadcast through the profiles of Instagram y TikTok @etb_juzenkoak
