Genelec opens experience centres in Stockholm and Helsinki

The Genelec global network of Experience Centres, showrooms where customers receive personal advice and access to a professional listening environment that simulates realistic situations that the AV industry may face, is expanding with locations in Stockholm and Helsinki.

Led by Erik Skanderbeck そして Patrick Lundin of the Genelec Swedish team, the Stockholm Experience Centre is located near the city centre, on the former site of the legendary Park Studios complex. Skanderbeck and Lundin oversaw the upgrading of infrastructure そして modernisation of IT/AV technology throughout the centre, as well as the installation of energy-saving smart building technology to provide sustainability and planning flexibility.

The Stockholm site is divided into five distinct areas, including the immersive Boman 7.1.4 room、 stereo environments of the Saltgruvan and Berg rooms、 large Live room そしてその lobby area for AV system demonstrations. All rooms are equipped with a wide selection of intelligent Genelec active loudspeakers and subwoofers optimised using GLM calibration software. In addition, the lobby area features a selection of Genelec Smart IP and 4000 series installation loudspeakers。

In addition, and overseen by Anders Nyman、 Helsinki Experience Centre is located in the 19th century building that also houses the Genelec Helsinki offices and the “Artist Room”. The Helsinki facility offers two listening spaces: one with an immersive 7.1.4 system based on ザ・ワンズ three-way coaxial studio loudspeakers, and the other with a wide selection of stereo solutions, up to the 1234A main studio loudspeaker models. As in Stockholm, the Helsinki loudspeaker systems are calibrated with GLM software.

新しい Nordic facilities join the existing Genelec Experience Centres in Europe, the Americas and Asia, which share the same mission of helping customers understand and experience “the finest in sound reproduction”.
