The Board of Directors recently approved the commercial needs that, under the name “Compatible Service”, intend for the 2D and 3D versions of a program to be broadcast within the same video signal, so that new 3D televisions and next-generation decoders will be able to receive 3D programs, while consumers with current 2D high definition television receivers and set-top boxes will be able to watch the 2D version.第二种方法称为 DVB-3DTV Phase 2A。
