Lutz Rathmann y Anthony Zuyderhoff

Riedel Communications has appointed Lutz Rathmann as Chief Executive Officer, whilst Anthony Zuyderhoff will lead the unified customer-facing organisation as Chief Commercial Officer.

Lutz Rathmann will become Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Riedel Communications, assuming overall responsibility for the Products Division and the Managed Technology Division. At the same time, Anthony Zuyderhoff will take up the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), heading the company’s newly unified global commercial organisation. Meanwhile, Jan Eveleens, currently Chief Executive of the Products Division, will retire at the end of 2026 following a long and successful career in the broadcasting industry.

The new structure enables greater alignment between the Products Division and the Managed Technology Division, combining Riedel’s expertise in product development and live production more closely. Both divisions will retain their respective teams, specialist knowledge and market focus, whilst collaborating more closely across the business. At the same time, Riedel will integrate its customer-focused sales, service, support and marketing functions through shared commercial leadership, enabling a more coordinated and consistent approach towards customers and partners.

Rathmann emphasises that “our customers do not think in terms of internal structures or individual responsibilities. They expect us to understand their challenges and to bring together the right capabilities. By aligning the Product and Managed Technology divisions more closely and strengthening our connection to the market, we can turn our combined expertise into greater value for customers and partners.”

Lutz RathmannWith Lutz Rathmann, an experienced Riedel executive will take on overall responsibility for both divisions. Before returning to lead the Managed Technology division in 2020, Rathmann had already held senior management roles at Riedel, including Deputy Head of Global Events and Head of Project Management. Since then, he has strategically expanded the business, developed new opportunities and partnerships, and strengthened the portfolio of solutions for international events and live productions. Together with Jan Eveleens, he has also fostered closer collaboration between the Managed Technology and Products divisions, laying the foundations to bring the two areas even closer together under his leadership.

Anthony ZuyderhoffZuyderhoff acknowledges that “our ambition is for Riedel to be perceived as a single company at every point of contact with the customer”. “That means bringing our sales teams closer together, bringing in the right specialist expertise at an earlier stage, and focusing less on individual products and more on the results our customers want to achieve.”

Zuyderhoff, currently Executive Director of Global Sales, will take the lead of the new sales organisation and bring Riedel’s key customer-facing functions together under a single leadership. The new structure is designed to facilitate collaboration, speed up decision-making and strengthen the support Riedel provides to customers and partners across all products and services.

Thomas Riedel, Chief Executive of the Riedel Group, emphasises that “Lutz knows our customers, our technologies and the realities of complex live productions. Anthony brings the commercial perspective and market focus needed to translate that strength into a consistent customer experience. Together, they will help us to link our capabilities more effectively and make Riedel more accessible, easier to understand and stronger in the market. I would also like to thank Jan for his enormous contribution to Riedel and am delighted that we will continue to benefit from his expertise as a consultant.”
