TSL monitors in the Confederations Cup
Alfacam acquires numerous PAM1-3G8 monitors for the coverage of this sporting event that will take place in South Africa between June 14 and 28.
TSL Professional Products Group has sold numerous PAM1-3G8 professional audio monitors through its distributor Erudict Media Solutions to the Belgian production company Alfacam for the broadcasts that will take place in the football Confederations Cup. This operation has allowed Alfacam to equip a complete outdoor system in multiple racks that were prepared in Belgium, subsequently disassembled and sent to the Standard Bank Arena, Ellis Park, in Johannesburg for coverage of the Cup.
TSL's PAM1-3G8 were installed in four crucial control positions, integrating with video monitoring and multiple channels of embedded audio, both analog and AES signals. Once the Confederations Cup concludes, these PAM-3G8 units will be used in the technical controls of the Alfacam group for channels such as EXQI Sport, EXQI Culture and HD1.
It should be noted that the PAM1-3G8 are the first rack monitoring unit that has the flexibility of OLED displays. These monitors include dual 3Ghz HD/SDU video inputs, Dolby D/E decoding, plus a host of advanced features that make them the most complete and intuitive rack-mount monitors for audio surveillance.
