Kroma monitor controller

Para incrementar las posibilidades del sistema modular QS, Kroma desarrolla un controlador de monitores con múltiples funciones.

Como estamos comprobando en Broadcast IT 2011 (3D24), los monitores QS de Extra pueden trabajar efectivamente como un sistema multipantalla modular simplemente combinando varias unidades. Con 4 señales por monitor, el sistema requerirá tantas unidades como sean necesarias para mostrar todas las señales del sistema (por ejemplo, cinco monitores QS pueden mostrar veinte señales). Es posible mezclar varios tamaños, e incluso combinar monitores de esta serie con monitores de la serie 7000 para previo y programa, ya que las pantallas y los colores de colorimetría son iguales para ambas series.

To increase the possibilities of the QS modular system, Kroma has developed a monitor controller. This PC-based software offers remote access to all monitor functions from a computer (both QS and 7000 series). In this way, not only the basic functions such as brightness and contrast of the screens, but also more advanced functionalities such as In-monitor displays or VU meters, can be easily adjusted from the control table.

In addition to standard monitor functions, Kroma control software can maintain a log of all system events and alarms, with monitor and dial details, as well as the date and time they occurred. These functions make the QS series a system very close to multi-displays, with added advantages: being based on broadcast monitors, the colorimetry is easily adjusted and the signal delay is kept to the minimum possible, just like in a monitoring bridge with independent monitors.
