Kroma has launched a new series of Quad Split monitors that is made up of two 17” and 23” models. The new QS17 and QS23 models have 8 PAL/SD/HD-SDI inputs with format auto-detection and 2 DVI inputs. The monitor can work as a video preselector, displaying four video signals simultaneously and with the possibility of choosing between all possible signals directly from the front control keyboard.
This new series has additional functions such as In-Monitor Displays (IMDs), vu meters, configurable dynamic tally and LTC. The monitor can be rack or desktop mounted thanks to the different mounting kits available, making it a perfect solution for mobile HD units as well as television studios, where both space and installation are the most important factors.
