HD comes to the CMM control room with Kroma by AEQ monitors
Middle Castile-La Mancha (CMM) has renovated its control room with the installation of a monitoring bridge that includes 27 HD monitors Chrome by AEQ.
Specifically, the public entity, immersed in an update to the HD what Panorama Audiovisual story in this report, has opted for 25 18.5″ monitors model LM8018 y 2 24″ monitors model LM8024.
The monitor series LM8000 of Chrome by AEQ stands out for offering an important color depth when representing images, which means significantly improving the linearity of the monitor as well as expanding the number of colors handled by it. Furthermore, its wide number of processing bits implies that the reproduced images have a greater definition and sharpness.
The monitors chosen by CMM They have functions that will be especially useful for the daily operations of the chain. These include its measurement capabilities such as vectorscope and waveform, or the possibility of inserting informative texts for each channel associated with each of the presence monitors of the continuity output signal towards broadcast, logo and name of the chain emission, program timecode that is currently broadcast or audio signal vumeter that is being broadcast. All these elements, according to AEQ, facilitates supervision of the correct operation of emissions, being able to avoid possible manual errors.
The entire project has been led by Bernardo Saiz, commercial manager of AEQ, in coordination with the CMM technical area.
