Vodafone launches its digital TV service in Portugal today, including HD

Under the name Casa TV, Vodafone launches the new digital television services in Portugal with more than a hundred channels and eight in high definition.

Vodafone Casa TvVodafone begins its digital television services in Portugal today and does so in a big way by launching Casa Tv, which includes an offer of more than a hundred channels, including eight channels in high definition: Sport TV HD, Eurosport HD, National Geographic HD and Disney Cinemagic HD. Vodafone Casa TV includes all national channels (RTP, SIC, TVI and Porto Canal), children's channels (Panda, Disney Channel, Disney Cinemagic, BabyTV, TiJi, Boomerang and Cartoon Network), musicals (MTV, VH1, MCM and Mezzo, among others) and the most popular film and series channels (TV Cine, Hollywood, MGM, AXN, Fox, Fox Crime and Sony TV). Casa Tv will also include a wide sports offering with channels such as Eurosport and Sport TV, as well as the Fuel and Motors channels. Documentaries (National Geographic, Travel, Odisseia and História), news programs (CNN, BBC World and TVE24) and other general programs such as Globo, Fashion TV and RAI, complete its offer.

Vodafone Casa TV ofrecerá alta definición y sonido Dolby Surround, EPG, Pausa Tv, Videoclub, así como un grabador digital con capacidad para 280 horas. Destacar funciones, hasta ahora únicas en Portugal, como la posibilidad de grabación de programas en cualquier Tv Box sin coste adicional, la opción ‘Passou na TV’ que permite ver un histórico de programas de los últimos días, uy el servicios ‘Fotos e Música’ que posibilita acceder desde la pantalla a fotos y música almacenados en un PC conectado en red dentro de la vivienda.
