EVS: solutions for today and tomorrow, at IBC'09

EVS, a world reference in instant tapeless technology, will show at IBC'09 a wide catalog of solutions for the coverage of live, news, fiction and entertainment events.

Among the fully active and practical workflows that EVS will showcase at its Amsterdam stand is its solution for large live sporting events, XT[2]. Now, the new Multicam software offers advanced capabilities to the XT[2]-LSM such as full control of Ultra-Motion and Hyper-Motion HD cameras. Creating and incorporating graphical tools for the first time in all RemoteLSM controllers will now be possible.

As for IPEdit, the ideal solution for quickly editing programs during live broadcasts, users will be able to see at IBC'09 how the system, without the need for any rendering, can enrich any broadcast, mainly sports. Regarding multi-camera solutions, one of the jewels in the crown at EVS, and the one that is achieving the greatest success, is its studio production proposal without the use of VTRs. It is a platform capable of replacing the use of VTRs in multi-camera production, thus replacing the use of countless tapes. This solution has been used in the production of numerous fiction series around the world.

Its perfect complement is INSIO 1.00, a multi-camera ingest control specially designed for fiction production. INSIO allows full control over an unlimited number of cameras during recording, managing parameters such as the creation of clips, reviews of the filmed material, inclusion of descriptive metadata,... and all this with a high level of integration with post-production.

As for the popular XS studio multi-format server, now with 2 and 4 channels, it is especially designed for tapeless ingest, production and broadcast. It supports a wide variety of acquisition and output formats, including a large number of SD-HD codecs (with XS Multi-codec workflow).

Exclusively during IBC'09, EVS we will also be able to see version 3.00 of CleanEdit NLE, now with greater integration with third-party solutions in terms of NRCS, archiving, automation, MAM, post-production, and recording in ENG files. A solution that integrates perfectly with XT[2] or XS production servers.

Another important novelty will be Live HD 3D, a spectacular solution for repetitions and slow motion in high definition and 3D based on the XT[2]-LSM.
