Among the storage proposals that DataDirect will show at IBC'09, the SFA 10000 system stands out, providing extremely high performance for high-transaction, high-bandwidth applications, delivering bandwidth of up to 10GB/s for both reads and writes, as well as up to 1,000,000 random IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second) to the cache and 300,000 IOPS to the disk. With over 48GB/s of internal system bandwidth, the SFA 10000 can perform multiple levels of parity generation, device correction, and data integrity checking without impacting application performance.

Designed to address multiple data types and storage performance demands, the SFA 10000's multi-RAID architecture combines up to 1,200 SATA, SAS, and SSD drives into one easily managed multi-PetaByte architecture. Data resides on the optimal disk technology based on priority and access patterns, while RAID level selection ensures maximum performance and profitability.
