Volicon expands the capabilities of its Observer system to enhance the ways in which operators can access, reapply, share, detect and resolve different types of audio and video content.

Volicon Observer is a solution capable of capturing, storing, and indexing content from multi-channel broadcasts, offering its users 24/7 simultaneous video control from their computers. The Observer delivers a new level of efficiency for critical streaming tasks including stream monitoring and problem detection and resolution, ensuring compliance, verifying advertiser broadcasts, and tracking and analyzing information on user approval ratings and public relations information.

Now, Volicon has added a series of new extensions and partnerships to its product designed to enhance the ways in which operators can access, re-apply, share, detect and resolve different types of audio and video content. For example, Observer's new content compatibility module allows operators to identify and access specific audio cues when they appear in a broadcast, offering thousands of uses for public information, government and public relations professionals such as the ability to track political campaigns, monitor ad coverage and advertising reports or confirm the airing of ads.

Also new is the Producer module that makes it easy for broadcasters to capture content in a variety of formats for many different types of uses, such as selling it to other news organizations or providing video clips to users who request them.
