Adobe, despite losses, foresees an increase in demand
Adobe Systems has reported a drop in its sales and profits in the last fiscal quarter, although it has highlighted when presenting the balance that demand for its products is improving.
The sales of the manufacturer of solutions such as CS, Acrobat, Flash or Photoshop have collapsed so far this year since, due to the recession, many of its clients have chosen to wait for new updates that will arrive in 2010 when, hopefully, better winds blow.
Adobe has presented earnings at the end of the fourth fiscal quarter (as of November 27) of 39 cents per share, thus exceeding the forecasts of analysts who expected to close with 37. As for the multinational's income, they fell 17%, reaching 757 million dollars, accumulating a net loss of 32 million dollars and 6 cents per share.
However, the Californian company has made public a forecast of increased demand for its solutions during the first months of 2010.
