Netia CamDirector or how to convert a radio program into television at low cost
Netia offers radio stations a curious application that allows them to produce multimedia content for different platforms. This is the new CamDirector module that, integrated into the RadioAssist 8 package, allows you to control live cameras and automate the mixing of signals depending on the microphone in use. Alongside CamDirector, Netia has introduced a new workflow engine and the Manreo file management system.
The digital audio automation software Radio-Assist 8 now has new modules that open up interesting possibilities, such as CamDirector. This module adds live camera control and automated image mixing depending on the microphone that is operating. In this way, a radio program can be distributed on platforms such as DTT, web or mobile with live images as if it were a conventional television production.
Using automatic voice detection, CamDirector allows you to complete production automation for in-studio interviews and special events, automatically switching cameras depending on which mic is open.
Aware that radio stations are increasingly enriching their content, working with increasingly complex workflows in multiplatform environments, Netia has also developed the new workflow engine whose purpose is to harmonize the exchange between any application.
On the other hand, Manreo 2 offers an open and scalable architecture, along with all the necessary tools to simplify the catalog, indexing, access and distribution of media. The solution is designed to maximize monetization in asset management and the use of rich media, which in turn can be repositioned and published on platforms such as web and mobile pages. It supports any industry standard format, ingesting content, generation of navigation proxies, rich media through speech-to-text functions and all with easy access.
