Michelle Jenner, Lluis Homar and Oona Chaplin will star in Armendáriz's new film, which will be shot in the fall in Pamplona with production by Oria Films and distribution by Alta Films. This will be the ninth feature film by Montxo Armendáriz, whose first film Tasius 25 years have just passed.

Director Montxo Armendáriz will feature for his new film Don't be afraid with the participation of Michelle Jenner (Spanish movie, Paco's Men), Lluis Homar (Broken hugs, Paper birds) y Oona Chaplin (Imago mortis, Quantum of Solace), as protagonists of his next film.

Pamplona will be the main stage of Don't be afraid, along with other Navarrese locations, all of them close to the capital. The film tells, in the director's own words, "the story of a young woman who fights to recover her dignity and overcome the consequences caused by the abuse she suffered in childhood."

This will be the ninth feature film by Montxo Armendáriz, whose first film Tasius 25 years have just passed. The director was awarded the National Cinematography Award in 1998. He also has two Goya awards for best screenplay and his films. Obaba, Broken Silence, Secrets of the Heart, Stories of the Kronen o Alou's letters, among others, have achieved numerous awards and recognition at different national and international festivals.

Don't be afraid which will be filmed in the fall of this year, is a production by Oria Films and will be distributed by Alta Films and tells the story of Silvia, a young woman marked by a dark childhood. At just 25 years old, she decides to rebuild her life and confront the people, feelings and emotions that keep her linked to the past. And in her fight against adversity, against herself, she will learn to control her fears and become an adult woman, finally master of her actions.
