Roland inaugura un show room in Madrid

Roland Iberia inaugurated this Thursday its new show room located at the Mac Digital headquarters on Islas Filipinas street in Madrid. This new space, which is added to the existing one at Roland's headquarters in Barcelona, ​​will be used to carry out both demo sessions and training for companies and professionals showing all the possibilities of the wide range of Roland solutions.

Roland Iberia inaugurated this Thursday its new show room located at the Mac Digital headquarters on Islas Filipinas street in Madrid. This new space, which is added to the existing one at Roland's headquarters in Barcelona, ​​will be used to carry out both demo sessions and training for companies and professionals showing all the possibilities of the wide range of Roland solutions. As a result of this transformation, Roland Systems Group, which until now operated as RSS by Roland (in audio) and Edirol by Roland (in video), now operates as two divisions called Roland Professional Audio (formerly RSS) and Professional Video (formerly Edirol).

Joan Garrobé, CCO at Roland Iberia, coinciding with the inauguration of this space, commented to Panorama Audiovisual that "this show room in collaboration with Mac Digital demonstrates our determined involvement with the distribution channel, with whom we work hand in hand to be closer to our clients to offer them the service, support and guarantee that they demand from a brand of Roland's prestige and solidity. In this new space, our clients will be able to see first-hand the latest developments, in a completely functional and eclectic environment. "We intend to provide this new space with a continuous program of demonstrations and training sessions throughout the year."

Strong presence of video equipment

Whoever comes to this new demo space will be able to see in action, for example, the powerful V-4 (four channels) and V-8 (eight channels) video mixers, LVS-800 (a powerful mixer with eight channels), V-440HD (multi-format mixer with the capacity to accept any type of video/computer signal, and generate any type of output signal), and the new V-1600HD that has 16 inputs that They provide connectivity to HD/SD-SDI, DVI/HDMI, RGB, component, composite and S-Video as well as access to resource images via USB memory. You can also see the VC-50HD recorders and the popular F-1 for field recordings.

In addition to the latest innovations, Roland exhibits the REAC family of elements in different configurations such as the M-400 digital console, the connection modules among which the S-4000-S and S-1608 stand out, and the M-48 personal monitoring systems.

Also worth noting is the M-48 Live Personal Mixer, a piece of equipment that, without intending to eliminate the monitor technician, allows each artist to independently personalize their work environment in a live environment (connected by a single category 5 cable, thus clearing the stage of accessory cables). In addition to avoiding monitoring problems, this equipment also eliminates many intermediate steps between the musician and the monitor technician, controlling the sound in a personalized way.

Roland will also carry out practical demonstrations of the logical evolution of its popular Digital Snake system in its new show room. In this case it is the S-0808 pre-amplification module, a stage box with eight matrix inputs/outputs, thus avoiding the use of injection boxes. The preamplification and A/D and D/A conversion on the stand housed in the same equipment makes it easier to work on large setups. Likewise, as it is a device powered by external batteries through a digital hose, it allows audio to be carried over long distances in film shoots or broadcast studios.
