In addition, the Midopro subsidiary has been the winning company of the contest to carry out the transmission and production in Galicia. On Saturday, November 6, in Santiago de Compostela, it has transmissions from the different centers of informative interest such as: Santiago Airport; Tour of the "Papamóvil" to the Cathedral; Obradoiro Square; Press center at the Palacio de Congresos; Alameda Paseo; and other significant places in the city. Eumóvil, producer of the Mediapro Group, is in charge of production.

On Sunday from Barcelona, ​​Overon makes transmissions for TV3 and makes available to the 12 DSNGS channel, 1 helicopter, 1 CAR Chamber and 16 digital links performing both the coverage of high definition transmission and standard definition.

The coverage includes points such as the airport, the “Papamóvil” tour from the archbishopric to the cathedral of the Sagrada Familia, a temple that the pontiff will dedicate to the cult during his 22 -hour stay in the city, with points of direct in the sacred family; and informing from press center as well as other points in the city.

TVG and TV3 in charge of the institutional signal

Television of Galicia deployed on Saturday on the occasion of the papal visit a total of 60 cameras giving coverage to the entire Pope's tour from the Lavacolla airport to the center of the Xacobeas celebrations inside the Compostela Cathedral and the massive mass in the Plaza del Obradoiro, as well as its return to the airport to leave Barcelona.

The technical device was possible thanks to the support of 19 mobile units, of which seven were dedicated to the audiovisual production of the event and another twelve will be DSNG to send the images from any position. The human team was composed of half a thousand professionals, including informants and technicians, including TVG personnel and external collaborators, who will work to cover the event, under the direction of Tino Santiago.

For its part, Televisió de Catalunya was responsible for facilitating the images of Pope's visit to Barcelona, ​​using 60 cameras. In total, TV3 produced more than six hours on Sunday.

The Catalan autonomic placed cameras in a helicopter, in front of the ‘Papamóvil’, and in the central nave of the Sagrada Família, where numerous microcamaras were also installed. The dedication ceremony of the Sagrada Família, a central act of the visit, was covered in high definition with 32 cameras and several experimental equipment in 3D.
