This Emmy will be awarded coinciding with the CES Show 2011 next January in Las Vegas.

Since 2008, the LDK 8300 HD Live Super SloMo system has been widely used by broadcasters and production services companies around the world, participating in prominent events such as the Beijing Olympic Games, the Vancouver Winter Games or the World Cup in South Africa. The LDK 8300 are also used in numerous sports programs such as the popular Monday Night Football on ESPN in the United States. This system is also used in numerous sports broadcasts throughout Europe.

Jeff Rosica, senior vice president of Grass Valley, commented: "The LDK 8300 is unique in its ability to deliver very high-quality images at variable capture speeds, allowing it to be used as a standard high-definition camera and to capture slow motion effects at 2x or 3x speeds. This recognition by NATAS is a true recognition to our engineering team in Breda, the Netherlands, and to all those who have made the LDK 8300 a resounding success. We set a standard for 3x Super Slow-Motion in SD with our LDK 23 camera system and now we have set a new standard in high definition with the LDK 8300.”

The LDK 8300 Super SloMo camera system offers features such as the ability to operate at selectable speeds at 1x, 2x, 3x and native capture at 1080i or 720p.

Thanks to AnyLight anti-flicker technology developed by Grass Valley, it compensates for flickering caused by artificial lighting, offering excellent image quality in all circumstances and colorimetry.
