NEP Broadcasting repeats with Grass Valley at the Emmys
NEP Broadcasting hired Emmy coverage for ABC and E! Networks production mixers from Grass Valley.
As in the last fifteen years, NEP Broadcasting produced the 64th edition of the Television Emmy Awards for the US ABC.
In its fleet of mobile units, NEP has numerous mixers of Grass Valley. Two of these units were used for high definition coverage of the ceremony and red carpet for ABC and E! Networks.
The multi-format capability of Grass Valley mixers allows you to work in both HD at 720p and interlaced or progressive at 1080.
Homeland triumphed at the 64th edition of the Emmys, the most important US television awards, with six statuettes, including best drama series. Homeland took home the awards for best series, best actor (Damien Lewis), best actress (Claire Danes) and best script (Alex Gansa, Howard Gordon and Gideon Raff, for the pilot episode) during the ceremony, to which it added two more of a technical nature.
As to Modern Family, won five statuettes, including the Emmy for best comedy series for the third year in a row. Its actors Eric Stonestreet and Julie Bowen took home the awards for best supporting performances. Jon Cryer won best comedy actor for Two and a Half Men, a series for which he already won in 2009, although in the supporting actor category.
Game Change He put his signature on the statuettes for best television film or miniseries, best director (Jay Roach), best actor (Kevin Costner) and best actress (Julianne Moore).
