Grau Luminotecnia has integrated into the La Nau Minguell space, managed by Tecnocampus in Mataró, an innovative set that has a circular cyclorama 8 meters in diameter with special fabric to make 360º projections. A special system allows you to slide the three 2.8 meter high by 13 meter long canvases that remain collected in their “parking lot” when an open space is required.

The Nau Minguell It is an audiovisual experimentation center created for the artistic and audiovisual industry of Mataró and managed by Tecnocampus. This space is rented to audiovisual companies and classes are also taught for students of the Polytechnic University of Mataró.

A practical installation

Located on the ground floor of the factory, this set, which is intended for both training and a presentation or simulating a conference room, has a circular cyclorama 8 meters in diameter with special fabric to make 360º projections thanks to several projectors. Panasonic synchronized. Along the cyclorama you can slide the three canvases measuring 2.8 meters high by 13 meters long, which remain collected in their “parking lot” when an open space is required. The first is a front projection fabric and the other two fabrics are a green chromakey and an obscuring black one. The parking system with a three-lane landing makes it easy to change fabrics in just a few minutes.

In order to support the cyclorama tracks, as well as the lighting screens, Grau made a primary grill with aluminum tube attached to the beams of the building so as not to damage the vaults, since it is a protected construction.

For the lighting of the set, Grau has provided eleven 2x55W Cotelux fluorescent screens controlled through a console located in the control room attached to the set.
